The best thing about it were the people who looked after me and were beyond helpful before I arrived arranging my airport pick up, waiting for me when my baggage got lost and taking me back to the airport to collect it. Beautiful colonial style design with fantastic local artwork throughout, amazing (cool) pool, honesty bar, secure on street parking (security watchmen at all times) and the most amazing helpful staff I've ever had at a hotel - emails and information on things to do, restaurants etc was outstanding. A really brilliant hotel in every way!"

"Life truly is better at the Marly! What an amazing introduction to Cape Town! The staff members and Charisma were immediately helpful from the first second I walked in the door. The sea facing room was spacious and had a gorgeous view of the ocean. Also the aromatherapy was such a great relief to the senses. "We loved the proximity of the property to Camps Bay residents & beaches which were less than 5 minutes away. The staff was friendly, helpful on arrival and sparse the rest of the time. Yet, the property is fairly self sufficient so it was not a big deal. The property is in good shape, safe, clean, fresh paint … the amenities are not very important other than the garage which was super handy for our car. We would definitely stay here again."
