"So glad I booked this place! It felt home away from home for this solo traveler. You had the privacy of your own studio but could go into the home and feel welcomed. Breakfast was such a fun experience with the food and other guests. Fresh coffee, fresh orange juice and freshly cut up fruit were my favorite! Beds were comfortable, slept good. "We want to give 5 stars for this place, but unfortunately our stay was flawed. The water heater was not working, and the staff was not available during the evening time. So, we have to do cold shower in winter time. Not pleasant. We tried contacting the front office, but no one returned our message until now (a week later). Otherwise, the facility is pretty nice."

"Comfortable room, easy to heat in winter, enjoyed private spa tub that you filled fresh yourself. Kettle, coffee capsule machine and toaster was sufficient for our needs over a weekend. Glad to have a EV charger available"

"Overall a charming property with a very spacious room at a good rate. A/C and heating both worked very well. Great location right within walking distance to main dining and shopping area. Couple things to note is there is no elevator at the property but staff was able to assist with bringing luggage up. It is also private entrance to the rooms, like motel style"

"We stayed in a cabin withy ensuite, it was perfect. Nice and clean, adequate heating for the cold evenings and nights. The beds were comfy. The wee kitchen had a two hotplate and a microwave. The bench space was a bit squishy for everything but you just made it work. There was a bait station opposite our cabin which is very useful and we used it. The locality of the site is great near all the Rotorua lakes and handy to the city also"

"Been staying at this property two and three times a year from past 10 years or so. (We should get a special badge!)Great staff and good service. "This is a lovely hotel in a prime location. I hadn’t been to Rotorua before so had no idea of where things were. Quest was near everywhere I wanted to go! The room was tidy and spacious. Staff were lovely."

"I stayed at the Regent Rotorua with my two sons during a family trip. The hotel was clean with useful an amenities, including a kitchenette, two queen beds, and a sofa. Best of all was location: adjacent alleyway with a dozen restaurants and shops, dozens of downtown food and shopping options, and Lake Rotorua well within walking distance. This centrally located hotel is very convenient and family friendly."
