"We absolutely loved our stay here, and wish I'd booked two nights instead of one. Staying in such a beautiful historical house was truly a special experience! Of course you sacrifice some modern comforts as they didn't build en-suite bathrooms back then, but I was honestly impressed at how comfortable it was: the room was small but we slept beautifully in the futon-style beds, waking up refreshed to soft daylight drifting in through the paper screens.
