My only criticism is that the hotel restaurant selections are very limited and as a vegetarian there were slim choices. This coupled with no restaurants in walking distance meant more driving. "We booked this hotel as part of a 4 night stay in Malta. It is situated in a fantastic location, very near to the waterfront and port for ferries to Gozo and the 3 cities. Valletta centre is a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are just perfect. Beautifully designed and coming back to an air conned room with such sumptuous luxury was a treat after a day out in the Maltese sun. It is so quiet and the perfect haven for tranquility. We couldn’t have asked for better service and advice from the hotel...

"Such a special night at xara palace - I was able to get an upgrade for my room and am so grateful. The room had a beautiful private balcony and hot tub overlooking Malta, which is an experience that I will never forget. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. The pool is a few minutes away in the car - the hotel provide a lovely driver as a when you wish to use this facility.

"We very much enjoyed our stay at 66 Saint Paul’s. Maximillian, who was working when we first arrived at the hotel, could not have been more helpful. He made wonderful restaurant suggestions as well as gave us a concise history lesson, guiding us toward which sites we shouldn’t miss. The look of the hotel is elegant and grand, even though it is not large. We enjoyed the quality and variety of the breakfast selection and the servers were lovely.
