Beautiful and serene oasis in Haifa that's walkable to most anywhere you'd like to go in town. David and his staff are so hospitable and went out of their way to make sure we all had a great stay. Will definitely be back.

Loved this spacious property. Stayed for four nights and it grew on me more and more. It felt like ours alone. Great corner room with views of the trees. Convenient free parking. Access to coffee and tea any time off the lobby. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Clean property and was great for parking as it was accessible to a free parking lot next to the building. Also walkable neighborhood. Clean hotel and spacious and beautifully designed, and staff were very friendly. For a 5 star hotel i was hoping to see some additional amenities such as a bidet in the bathroom, some toiletries in the bathroom were missing, more than a single water bottle during my stay, and there wasnt a lounge area to accept guests except for a small breakfast area that didnt have proper air conditioning. It was a very nice hotel but expected a little more from the 5 star rating. However, I would indeed stay there again.

Lovely boutique hotel

Schumacher is a lovely boutique hotel. Though it is helpful for typical American traveler to know that the room is small and the toilet and shower are separated only by frosted glass walls. The accessories are very hip and modern but not much privacy if you are travelling with someone.

Best Cusomer Service in the world

We had an absolutely fantastic stay and would go as far as to say that it offered the best customer service levels of any hotel we've stayed in around the world. All of the team were extremely friendly, attentive and welcoming creating a truly relaxing urban oasis in a fabulous central location. Our room was stylish and modern with lovely bright windows and we loved the two rooftoops and great views of the Baha'i Gardens. We cannot recommend The Schumacher enough. It is truly special.

The Schumacher is a fantastic hotel, in a beautiful setting (the middle of a small, private park) . . . the staff was super friendly and always helpful . . . a perfect location for seeing the German Colony / downtown areas of Haifa . . . our stay at the Schumacher could not have been better!!
