"It was a wondeful stay. while it is expensive, it is worth it for the level of facilities and staff. The breakfast is very traditional japanese but it is part of the full experience. People should embrace and try it because we had both the western and the japanese breakfast and both were very well prepared with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The staff tries to do a good job."

"The Air conditioner was not working and I spent a significant portion of the time working with the staff to get it fixed. They were unable to fix it and had to provide some extra portable coolers to address this situation. Also, not vegetarian friendly dinner or buffet."

"Wow - this place was amazing. I felt so spoiled coming back at the end of each day and soaking in the foot bath or onsen tub in our beautiful apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are also fantastic. There are not many restaurants near by, but we didn't mind bringing food with us to cook. There is also a 7-11 for supplies a 15-minute walk up the hill. We could easily catch the bus or train from here for our daily adventures. Our kids liked the foot bath and big projector screen for watching shows in the evening. "
