"Very lovely little hotel. The location is a little more remote in terms of things to do or eat. The only restaurant in the area was the one in my hotel. So i ended up driving about 25 minutes to eat in Portree. The property is lovely and my room was great with the most beautiful view. Breakfast at the restaurant was great. One morning I was leaving early to hike and they made me a packed breakfast to take which was very kind. Front desk girl was very sweet and friendly and the tall young man...

"The grounds were beautiful, the view from our room was sublime, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did a lot of moving hotels during our trip and I wish we had at least one more day here."

"There were many subtle 'extras' that helped to enhance the quality of our stay. Very well done. Excellent hosts."

"Atholl House was great for ourcrecent stay on the Isle of Skye. Initially I was disappointed we could not find a room in Portree but after visiting Atholl House I actually preferred it. There are several hood restaurants nearby, a beautiful view. Close to certain things we wantedvto explore. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the person serving was very friendly and helpful. As with many of the places we stayed there was rarely...

"Great location. Clean rooms delicious breakfast. Kind staff."

"Breakfast"

"The staff at this property were the absolute best and so kind and attentive. Leon was incredibly kind and helpful and all the wait staff and room service staff were awesome. I felt cared for and welcome and my stay as a woman traveling alone was the best I could have hoped for. I definitely recommend this breathtaking property and will be back! PS: make sure to experience the sauna!"

"Loved the hotel. Fabulous room. Entrance hall tired. Food lovely. Staff very helpful!"

"I wish we stayed longer. It was exactly what we were looking for our trip to Skye. Great hosts and lovely views. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay longer next time. 2 nights simply was not enough."

"Lovely view, lovely room, lovely breakfast!"

"Travelled with my family and this was an excellent choice, stayed at the private room and was surprised at the lack of noise from the outside, very good acoustics. Highly recommend and the private bathroom was a plus. Very close to several tourists destinations."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay and the property is in a great location, close to all the restaurants and shops. The view from our room was beautiful. The bathroom could use some updating but other than that it was a great value."
