"The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly. "I would prefer it hotter but it was warm enough. Food was delicious, very good quality, staff extremely helpful and friendly, spa is beautiful with wide range of facilities. "

"Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Check in staff were really friendly and efficient. Great breakfast and lovely bar area too. Our room was lovely, overlooking the river. It was warm and with no air con the room was a little hot, but they had a fan and we asked for the window restrictor to be removed which helped a lot!
Great location, less than 10 minutes walk in to the centre of Chester.
Great stay and would stay again 😊"
