"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. "The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "

"I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."

"Bar area & seating was acceptable but the accommodation was two out of ten with stair carpet and landings disgustingly dirty & smelly . Apartment 6 room floor carpet needs replacing , walls have splash marks that are from previous occupants , shower door disgusting at bottom outside."

"This was the second time we’ve stayed here in the past 2 years and it was lovely once again. The room is really nice and comfortable and the staff are excellent. The TV has been upgraded from last year which was a much needed improvement and is now excellent. The only minor issues are the air con unit on the wall that seems utterly useless. We placed it on the cool setting but it seems to make no difference. We had the same issue last year. Please look at or replace the air con unit. The doors...
