The accommodation is situated on a working farm just outside Haltwhistle. You would need a car to get to there. It was peaceful and relaxing and we had everything we needed. Super convenient for exploring the English & Scottish border counties. Would definitely return for another stay 🙂

This is an excellent place to stay in a quiet and well maintained property. The hostess was so helpful with information about the area. We had a room with a double and single bed. Breakfast very good according to our request. The only minor issue is that the TV was too small for the size of the room. Having said that the fresh eggs from Muriel the hen was very tasty.

Way out in the countryside but well worth the drive. Welcoming owners. It’s been in their family since 1849! Very clean and updated. Excellent food. Lots of sheep and flowers.

The breakfast was easily the best I’ve had in my entire trip to the UK. Everything was fresh and amazing. The proprietor was polite and very nice and extremely helpful. The room was clean and tastefully appointed and everything worked great. I would highly recommend this B&B.

The cottage is a great size with large bedrooms, a large kitchen diner and a relaxing living room. The heating is very efficient, so we were warm and cosy. The location makes Northumberland very accessible and Hadrian's Wall is only a short drive away.
