Perfect onsen with various & good quality tea. Room is super comfort with spetacular view of the lake. Onsen is also very good quality and very relaxing

Excellent hotel very close to the station

A fantastic welcome and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a pleasure to stay in a Daiwa Roynet again - a "normal" room size (for a Westerner who feels cramped in the very small rooms typical of mid-range Japanese business hotels) and a window with a view made all the difference. I have stayed in a couple of Daiwa Roynet hotels now & found them to be of good quality & very comfortable. The Hamamatsu Daiwa Roynet is centrally positioned, very quiet, & the staff were very helpful.

This was our 1st experience of a Richmond hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is situated close to the city centre and is an easy walk from the main JR railway station and shopping and dining streets. The reception staff were not experts in the English language but they were friendly and keen to please. We had no problem with check in and booking a taxi for our early next day departure. Our twin room was large by Japanese standards. It was in 1st class condition and had all...

Nothing bad about hotel staff were lovely - but rude guests letting dogs bark early morning and at breakfast.

Hotel is one block away from main train station which allows for easy rail and bus travel, access to excellent tourist information centre, plus numerous restaurants and shops. Breakfast in the hotel is very nice buffet style with more seating than other similar sized hotels. Nice downstairs area for relaxing. Room was clean and comfortable and was just the right size for me. One very minor downside though with my room was that the refrigerator was a little bit too noisy at times, so I had to...

Very helpful staff. Great breakfast. Clean room. Good location. Brilliant.

Like all Japanese hotels, perfectly clean. Nice room, good size for a single traveller, and a very reasonable price. Unlimited free coffee and soft drinks in the reception lounge, a generous gesture. The hotel reception was particularly helpful and accommodating to me and a lot of other travellers caught up in Typhoon Hagibis, we had flights cancelled and needed to rebook rooms at short notice. The staff have reasonable English but used digital translators to reduce communication problems. A...

The staff were lovely and assisted as much as they could, some English as well. The breakfast was a surprise as it was far beyond what we expected. A curry choice, as well as, salad, croissants, coffee etc all included in the price. Rooms was basic but sufficient, although wifi was dodgey which was only downside.

Had a pleasant experience at this hotel, staff were very accomadating and friendly, rooms were extremely well equipped. Would stay again!

Great breakfast, really nice onsen.
