Nice and Clean

Hotel located on a pedestrian shopping street in the center of town. Area was quiet at night. Shopping centre and food store directly across from hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast started early and food was good and plentiful. Usual buffet selection as can be found elsewhere in Finland. Room not at all cramped.

Sympaattinen Emilia - hinta-laatusuhde kohdallaan

Hintaluokkansa hotelleista Hämeenlinnassa Emilia on omassa luokassaan. Erityisesti huoneiden ja muiden tilojen viihtyisyys ja tyylikkyys tekee vaikutuksen. Hotellin "varustelutaso" ei ole huikea, mutta se mitä löytyy on tehty ajatuksella ja tyylillä. Miinusta tulee ahtaasta aulasta ja hankalasta auton paikoituksesta. Mukavia piirteitä taas ovat lukuisien ravintoloiden sijainti parin korttelin sisällä ja hotellin tarjoamat ravintolapaketit ja -alennukset. Nykyisin Emilia kuuluu jokaiseen konventtiviikonloppuumme hämeenlinnassa.

Hameenlinna stopover

Hotel Emelia was a one night stop on a 16 day tour of Finland. Although right in town it was easily accessible with overnight parking for our rental car. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed meal at hotel's affiliated restaurant across the road where waitress helped us practice our Finnish.

Saimme hotellissa aivan ihanaa ja huomaavaista palvelua, vuorokaudenajasta ja respan ihmisestä riippumatta. Pikkuruinen kahvila respan yhteydessä oli mukava. Huone oli valoisa ja siisti.

Excellent, friendly hotel

Excellent hotel with good service. On check-in, clerk asked if I wanted a room with a nice view over the square (but noisier) or a quiet room at the back (with very dull view); with jet lag, I quickly picked the quieter one. Good breakfast provided. The only other nicety I would have liked would be a free computer in lobby to check email. Very good value, within easy walking distance of lovely things to see, including Sibelius museum and the famous castle.
