"The hotel has two fantastic restaurants/bars that serve excellent food and drinks. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of downtown and very close to public transportation, which makes getting around incredibly easy. The only downside were the linens and pillows. The pillows had an oily, musky scalp smell that was pretty unpleasant. It would be great if the hotel could wash the actual pillows more frequently, not just the pillowcases, or replace them periodically."

"Clean room ,nice breakfast ,nice staff. Only once house keeping is a bit pity when we return back home and found dirty towels."

"Property was in a great location, perfect for families. Rooms were big and clean. Staff was very friendly. The only downside was how incredibly loud the water features are in the pool so if you have sensory sensitive kids, keep that in mind. "

"Staff was very helpful and did so much to make this trip amazing. The parking can be quite full during the weekend but the overflow parking was still close to the property and a safe 5 minute walk. The room was very clean and provided good space for coming and going. Overall this property was a great getaway that was peaceful and tranquil with lots to explore in the area. "

"The breakfast was pretty good. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathtub didn't look very clean, but the rest of the bathroom was sparkling. It was fine for a quick trip on a budget. They do charge $13 a night for parking and there is a $75 deposit for the room."

"Very clean and friendly Hotel. The staff are always top notch. Close to the convention area, easy to get to the downtown or really anywhere from this location. Didnt try th bar, but had good looking food on the menu. "

"Was traveling with older parents, and the staff was helpful in every way. Loved the bar downstairs for a drink before dinner, and breakfast was fantastic in the morning. Will be back! "

"Staff were very friendly & accommodating! I paid for the parking option & it was so worth it - valet took care of my luggage & I was able to come & go through texting request for my vehicle. The lobby restaurant dinner options were healthy and perfect so I did not have to find a restaurant somewhere else. Happy, but not noisy, in a very warm environment!"

"There were some issues with the room. The microwave and dishwasher would not start. Also, the garbage disposal would not turn on. The range hood was greasy (had not been cleaned for a while). Otherwise, the room was clean."

"The Portland Moxy is great, the location, the ease and the hotel itself. A stones throw from Powell’s bookstore and the living room theater (we watched The Stranger) and it is surrounded by good food places (ramen, Mexican burritos and Indian food). A great place"

"The staff was exceptional. We had an issue with a valet who accidentally damaged our work vehicle. He immediately called me to let me know what happened and took responsibility for it. The thing is, if he had not said anything, I would not have noticed it for a while. He showed exemplary character in his actions. The rest of the staff was great as well. The hotel was spotless and we enjoyed staying there."
