"The place is exceptionally clean and well maintained. I only wished i could get coffee in the morning at this “bed and breakfast” , but i had to go to the nearest cafe for that. Other than that- a great place to stay for a night!"

"We chose this hotel for its convenient location within walking distance of a concert hall, restaurants, and shops, and importantly, for its self-parking option. Self-parking in downtown is surprisingly hard to find, so that was a big plus. The hotel is older and on the smaller side, but well maintained. The one area that could use more attention is the edges of the walls and glass doors in the bathroom, which needed a more thorough cleaning. One unexpected surprise: there is no in-room coffee...

"This was a nice hotel at one time, but it seems like the place is run down and in poor condition now. The Front desk guy and the valet/bell guys were helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant "King Fish" should be avoided. The food we ordered was not good and the woman seating people at the breakfast service was quite rude both mornings we went there (since it was included in the room fee). The Italian restaurant next door is great! The River Cafe next door serves a good breakfast. We ate...

"On all accounts, it is a sucess. Stay here and you will be comfortable and satisfied."

"The bar closes at 10. The restaurant won't seat you without a "reservation" even though it's half empty. They probably have a staff shortage but won't admit it. Lobby tables left un-bussed. We had to do it ourselves. Room service, vacuums, etc are left in the hall for multiple days, let alone hours. And those nice, clear shower doors? Accumulated soap scum from previous guests. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, which was the most important. Overall, a disappointing experience."

"We regularly stay at the Woodlark for the location. It’s expensive so we keep a lookout for when their rates are lower than their typical price. The beds are super comfortable. The soap and lotions are divine. It’s downtown in a safe area. It’s easy to access other parts of Portland by car from here. We self park at a relatively near parking garage on 10th which is much cheaper than the valet service."
