Comfort Inn & Suites Hampton near Coliseum
When I arrived I was told they were short staffed and no rooms were available. I let the check-in person know I had an event to attend. She went and found me a room.

Our dog-friendly room looked out over the beach and the motel's dog run. It was clean and everything worked (e.g., fridge, bathroom, lights). Access to the beach was easy.
