"Are warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Our room was large and had all the comforts we needed good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits large bed lovely clean and soft towels. It’s a 15th century building with flipping floors low ceilings etc but that just added to the charm. We had a drink in the bar and it was clearly a pub used by the locals who made us feel welcome. We did dine in the restaurant on our first night and yet again the food and service was excellent. Breakfast...

"Beautiful cottage with really lovely hosts. They couldn't have been nicer, and so welcoming, and happy for us to come and go as we pleased during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast! Honey yoghurt with granola and fruit, full English or smashed avocado, was beautiful and set us upfor the day ❤️"

"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."
