"We were not given the room we reserved ( suite). It was a standard room with 2 beds. This did not work as we needed the pull out couch. Therefore, we had to drive the other person to another hotel to stay. ( no other rooms available). Needless to say, we were disappointed."

"I was quite surprised by how clean, and well maintained they keep the rooms and facilities. Not a lot of flair, but clean and comfortable. Better condition than some 5 star rated hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s clear the management here cares and is doing a great job. The evening food and drinks, really is inviting, and a value you don’t often find."

"Parking is free in an open parking lot and YOU are responsible for your own car’s safety and security. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and happy, which was a very nice surprise. I only stayed 1 night so I can say the room was very clean, bathroom was nice and clean there’s a microwave and fridge but the fridge didn’t have any power maybe a fuse needs to be checked but the large TV and microwave worked fine, shower runs great and is well renovated and the room looks just as pictured....

"I was a little surprised that the following things were even an issue at a marriott property. There looked to be excrement around the base of the toilet. The in-room coffee machine was a joke. The very small filter didnt even fit into the coffee maker! The iron we tried to use left gross marks on my pants because of the build-up on the bottom of the iron. But the worst of it....the sink drained Very Slowly. The staff was very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room...

"The hotel’s A/C was broken at our check in and we were told it would be back up and running within an hr or two. We had to get ready for my wife’s birthday in a hot room and it caused us to be late to our reservations and threw off our entire evening with our plans. We had to come back from our evening to a humid room and did not get good rest. The A/C was barely working properly the next morning when we had to check out. So overall it wasn’t a pleasant stay. The property did look nice however."

"Older building but well maintained. We had stayed here previously a few years ago and it seems much nicer now! I am a breakfast person and the breakfast here is EXCELLENT! I will come back and stay here just for the breakfast when I'm in Richmond. This trip was for my son's swim meet, important to have a bathtub, not just a shower, and older facilities usually have tubs (thank goodness). My only trivial complaint is that the air conditioning unit, while it worked just fine for being older, it...
