Staff were really friendly and helpful, for example the concierge gave us advice around puppet show tickets and then got us some amazing tickets. When we said one of our rooms didn’t have black out blinds the hotel fitted some for us. But the pool was a bit grimy and there was a bit of a smell from the lake. This might have been due to the heavy rain the whole time we were there.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. The hotel is beautifully located over the lake, offering peaceful views and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, making the stay feel effortless from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We had an excellent stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. Although it is only about 15 minutes from Hanoi's Old Quarter by Grab, the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. The lakeside setting is absolutely beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. From check-in to departure, every member of the staff provided outstanding service and made us feel genuinely welcome. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the breakfast was truly one of the best we have experienced in Asia. The variety, quality, and freshness of the food were exceptional. What we loved most was the balance between convenience and tranquility. You are still close to the city center, yet surrounded by peace, quiet, and stunning views of the lake. You can really feel the quality and hospitality that InterContinental and IHG are known for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Hanoi. We will definitely be back!
