"Went with a friend for the Canfield fair, front desk person was very nice, even offering us each a complementary drink to go with the room. The rooms were nice and basic, as long as you don't mind a more low key and old school motel I'd say it's a great choice. The room and beds were clean, and again, for the price it is hard to go wrong. We specifically love the old school vibe of a local small motel so if you're into that, give the place a shot! The soap was the ONLY part I wasn't crazy about, but I usually expect almost all hotel/motel soap to be lackluster so I brought my own. It is fine for hand washing, but a nice lather is lacking in the shower."

"The hotel was very clean and a very nice property. However, when I booked our room I was expecting a restaurant nearby. It was closed for renovations. We ended up eating sandwiches from the nearby gas station. The website needs to be updated. Also, our room was out of shampoo and conditioner. We’ve stayed in places all over the country and even a dive of a motel had a coffee pot. I know it wasn’t listed as having one but it would have been nice. We were on the 2nd floor so I walked to the end of hallway where there were supposed to be vending machines according to the sign on wall across from our room. No vending machines and ice machine was out of order. Breakfast choices were good. I’m surprised that this place had no elevators being built in the late 1990s. Would we stay here again? Only if everything is working!"

"Enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, peaceful and quiet. The staff were nice and helpful, and breakfast is the best. I had a good experience overall and I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would stay here again."
