"The rooms look a bit tired, I was first taken to a room designed for someone with a disability no idea why. Front desk staff not very friendly. Having only one coffee machine, which was slow and outside the breakfast room was annoying, had queue at breakfast for a while. The GF bread wasn’t nice tasted like it had been fried. The scrambled eggs and mushrooms were barely warm and I had breakfast when it started at 7. "

"This hotel has seen better days, but the view can't be seen from anywhere even remotely in its price range. Unfortunately there were some issues with my room. The carpet was very wet right next to the bed and so it was musty and I got wet socks getting out of bed. It's likely it was from the aircon unit but nonetheless it's not what I'd expect. The carpet seemed like it'd been wet for a while. Sound travelled really clearly across rooms, especially from cleaning staff knocking on doors and calling out. The balcony has a lovely view but as the photo shows and staff mentioned to me, the door is left open to it in between visitors as well as suggested when you go out to the balcony. They say you could get locked out; it feels like an odd solution to leave the door open rather than fixing doors. They also said it stops the rooms from getting musty: again it seems an odd thing given that anything could fly in the door into the room while the door is open?? The bathroom seemed recently renovated and was nice and clean, however the ceiling exhaust fan didn't work. The shower was warm but not hot. All up it's a fine enough spot but unless a solid renovation is done it's not great. The view is awesome though."

"Had to chase up Motel for after hours details for entry and key for room. Front door of room seemed to have a fist sized dent - air con was very old and rattled very badly so had to turn off. Could not open front window for air flow and small window in bathroom had locks and after front door issue did not feel safe to open"
