"Staff was very friendly and accommodating, gave hotel a 4 star opposed to a 5 star other guest dropped food all in the hall. Staff cleaned it up just that I actually seen the mess and do appreciate they came and cleaned it and not wait for the morning to get it up"

"The whole property was very clean. The staff was phenomenal! They were very helpful, offering suggestions and answering questions. Plenty of parking and convenient to many tours, restaurants, etc. The 1863 Inn of Gettysburg will be the place we stay from now on."

"Pool was great!!! Wonderful amenity!! Pet friendly policy is delightful & definitely appreciate that the cost is reasonably affordable. We needed a first floor room with 2 queens, and early check-in. They readily accommodated our needs, for which we are very grateful!! Breakfast options were good, but did seem to run low after 8:30am. Would have liked bacon option as well as sausage. Definitely would stay here many times again and recommend highly."

"Great hotel! Perfect for our visit to Gettysburg. The pool and hot tub were great, and the breakfast was hot and delicious. The ladies attending the breakfast were very attentive and helpful. They even offered to carry a plate to our table because they could see our hands were full. Lovely place and even lovelier people."

"The website said there was a restaurant and there was a breakfast and dinner menu but there was no breakfast available. The Tv channels were limited and there was no Fox news. The fridge in yje room was a mini but the picture online was a larger one. The air conditioning did not work well. Room was too hot. "It's super close to the different monuments. Gettysburg isn't a big town, but the places near Lincoln Square are still very crowded. This hotel is not in that area and therefore offers a quiet atmosphere while still being very walkable to all of the different places. It also offers a great complimentary breakfast.
