"The property is being renovated, so the pool area was unavailable. Staff was great, the facility and our room was clean. The shower let more water out of the lower faucet than the shower head, but it worked as we were only overnighters. The continental breakfast was okay, looked for some eggs or protein, but breakfast sandwiches were the only source. That said, there were plenty of carb options!"

"Main guest restroom in the lobby area had no paper towels, and no soap. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk, they acknowledged that they knew about it and couldn’t do anything about it because they didn’t have access to the cabinet that stores the soap and paper towels. Instead of just going out to get soap for the guest, also lends the question if the staff are washing their hands if there’s no soap for the public? Then when we got to our room, there was also no soap to...

"The major pros : location - steps from Allentown gay village . Free outdoor parking . Charming hotel reminds me of being in an old fashioned movie. If you want modern etc don’t book here but if you’re after charm go for it. This hotel is kind of like an old apartment building but it’s a place to sleep and recoup."

"It seems that in every hotel we stay in that the TV is set-up differently. How to access the ' live ' TV is always a challenge, as here, at Hampton Amherst-Buffalo, no station numbers were available, at least, that we could find. If things could be made simpler, less complicated. Perhaps a placard on the table with the TV monitor ?"

"The bathtubs were piling off inside et the drain caps were corroded. Walls finishes are coming off. Only one elevator is operational et the second one does NOT even has any Inop sign on it. Very rude young man at the checking lobby. He can even hand you your room key properly. ZERO smile on his face. Will not recommend this place to a friend."

"We were very happy with our stay. The hotel was suitably located for everything we wanted to accomplish. Staff was friendly and professional and the room was perfect. Top marks all around. 👍"

"Great deal if you’re driving a car about 20’ drive from main Niagara attractions. Has washer and dryer which worked great for just a one night stay after night show at the Falls.,"

"The hotel is really run down. There is a musty smell. The front desk couldn’t hear me on the rotary phone. Strong smell of bleach and there was some beetle bug in the bathroom. It is close to Darien Lake, so that was a plus."

"Room was nice & clean. Staff was polite & helpful. Pool & jacuzzi were nice. Breakfast was good but need more staff to help. Only had 1 women and she was doing the best she could. Felt bad for her. It was very busy and as quick as she replenished and put things out… it was emptied. Would definitely stay again."

"Having a place to charge my car overnight was great! Our room was clean and quiet at night for sleeping. My mom and I enjoyed the free breakfast and kind staff, too."
