"Clean hotel! New and cozy! Close to 41 but far enough away that you can’t hear the noise. I frequent the area often and this will be my hotel of choice!"

"Upon check in the lady at the front desk added a $50 pet fee that was not told to me on website and I did not see a place to let them know there was a small dog. She stated she could not do anything because I went through Expedia. I had to accept the fee because we were from out of town and had no options. When we entered our room there was a massive stain on the bedspread, and a dirty balled up Kleenex in the box. I requested a new room. When we got in that room there was a putrid smell....

"It’s a lovely, small, quiet inn. Although no restaurant, they will make a frozen pizza for you. They also have beer and wine available. Their breakfast room is sunny and cozy. They also carry Seattle’s Best Coffee which I love. I was only there one night, but it was a restful night."

"We checked in and immediately found a needle (things drugs) and a pacifier in the middle of the floor. The employee offered to give us a free night some other time. I’ll lever go back to this hotel. It’s full of rude people that obviously live there. Pathetic. We had such a great experience the first time we stayed here. This last time was so disappointing. Go anywhere else. The hot tub in our room was amazing, that’s the only good thing I have to say about this place."

"The place was absolutely disgusting. There were a bunch of leftover hairs from some blonde lady nestled in all of the coffee ingredients stationed on the sink. I brought that up to the staff immediately, and it took three days to clean it. The shower hose was blowing water all over the bathroom and that took a couple of days to repair. Their breakfast was horrible and instead of bagels or muffins, they had leftover, stale hot dog buns for breakfast. I was there for a week-long training...

"Hilton Paper Valley has been our home away from home since our Lawrence student started the college journey a few years ago. We love it! The staff, the breakfast buffet, the rooms, the views, the location, Lombardi's, short walk to Lawrence, nearby parks, parades and farmers' markets! We will miss our several times a year trips to Appleton and our stays at the Hilton Paper Valley.
