"I absolutely love this place. My room was super clean and had a nice feel. The building was clean. The check-in lady and the owner were very nice. The price was amazing for how much that place has to offer, including a swimming pool. And even with that great price they included a complementary breakfast.! I will stay at this location when I am in the area again. 100%.!"

"This was definitely a no-frills stay, but overall, I was pleased. PROS: comfortable bed and pillows, window, air-conditioning and heating unit that worked, shower was hot, TV user-friendly, located in between a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Burger King. CONS: no elevator, no extras (things like blankets, hairdryer, iron), towels were very thin, mini-fridge did not work (I didn’t need it, so I didn’t complain), bathroom run-down/stained."

"One of our lamps did not work. They said we can see if we can find another one. They never followed through with it. Fridge did not work. There was food left in it and it was dirty. Laundry was broke. There were NO SMOKING signs posted but plenty of smoking going on! It was gross and smelly!!! Staff were not very friendly or helpful"

"Our room appeared clean until I went into bathroom and found hair on the vanity, so I cleaned it myself. As I was getting into the shower I grabbed the floormat and it was soaked and again had hair on it. I had called the desk for extra pillows and when she came I had showed her the bathroom and bathmat she offered to bring me a new and that was all! No care if our room was actually cleaned! Will not recommend!"

"The room was clean but bathroom obviously had water damage - drywall holes, and shower rod ready to fall down. Elevator smells musty. Breakfast bare bones - 2 cereals, waffles, instant oatmeal, juice selection. Coffee tasted awful - dumped out and went to Dunkin' Donuts."

"When I pulled up, the property looked deserted. Called to summon desk to check me in. He was very polite. The top safety latch was missing on my door, which being in the hotel all by myself was a little unnerving. Literally, I was alone with no hotel workers. There was no breakfast set up. I will say that everything looked very clean. Almost looked like they were working to fix up. Paid more then I would have expected for what I got. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose this property because it was the only traditional hotel within walking distance of an event we were attending (Franklin Blues and BBQ Festival) so the rates were probably higher than normal. Our biggest complaint was the free hot breakfast. All 3 mornings were the same. Tasteless sausage patties and scrambled eggs. A handful of high carb offerings. Weak coffee and rock hard butter. The problem with Franklin is there are no restaurants "downtown"...

"My room was not very clean. The door was not closing, there was a smell in the room. They were no curtains on the windows. There was a lot of light coming in through the windows. I could not asleep due to the light in my room when I went to check for breakfast there was a couple things just sitting in the kitchen area. Self-serving I was expecting breakfast to be served. I get what I pay for not staying there again."

"Parking was easy but my room and my parents rooms smelled and were in bad condition. Parents room was supposed be handicap accessible and was not they did correct that but the room they received had no phone and phone jack was broken along with leaky shower. my room smelled bad and paint peeling off the wall"

"The view of the Allegany River is breathtaking and the rooms are spacious and clean. The decor makes it feel like home rather than a hotel room. The "take and go" breakfast has a very limited selection. However, the room and the other amenities by far outweigh the limited breakfast. We will definitely stay here again!"
