"The apartment was nice enough. It was clean and quiet. Staff was available when I had questions. However, the furniture, particularly the sofa and mattresses were not very nice at all. The master bedroom mattress had remnants of being a firm bed at one time but as since broken down and is incredibly lumpy and unsupportive. Woke up sore every morning. The pillows were also thin and uncomfortable. The sofa in the main area was slanted and lumpy, and if you attempted to stretch out, you had a bar...

"Lovely rooms. Small but so very functional. Lots of seating. Big mirror. Great bathroom. And a fun aesthetic. No coffee or microwave in the room but good coffee on the second floor. Absolutely sexy location. Close to restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store and bars (of course). Parking next door (at $40 a day). Friendly folk. Even the guests seemed to be friendly and taking one broken elevator (of 2) in stride (we got some drink coupons!). All this at a price that is tough to beat! Chicago hotels...

"The property itself is beautiful and rich in history unfortunately. they are very short staffed. Stayed five days and had housekeeping only one day. Valet was very slow at one point I waited an hour for them to retrieve my car on a Monday during the afternoon, not a peak time. My toilet also ran every night. I would have to get up and jiggle the handle. For the amount of money you pay for this hotel I would at least expect to get my room cleaned daily. I was using hand towels to wash my face as...
