"Back in the 70s I lived in the building next door. The building where the Night Hotel is now was an SRO (look it up) back in the day. I noted that a number of rooms seemed to still be SRO housing. The clerk acknowledged that. was so. Go watch the film "The Night Porter" with Dirk Bogarde and Charlotte Rampling to get a feel."

"This was one of the best NYC stays I’ve ever had in my life. I booked this place for my 30th birthday treat. The hotel room was quiet, the shower was large and luxurious, and everything was very clean and well kept. The staff was lovely. The breakfast had such a wide range of options and was DELICIOUS. Still thinking about my breakfast. Everything went extremely smoothly at this hotel, from valet parking, keeping my luggage with staff, and valet parking back. I would come back in a heartbeat,...

"This place is very spacious and nice in the Upper East Side. Check in is so easy, and there is luggage storage for before and after stay. The kitchen is well-stocked for basic cooking. TVs and air in every room and comfortable beds. The place was very clean, just the walls could use a little refresh with all the luggage in and out. Happy we stayed here!"

"the room is small but the design is good that there are many surface areas for putting stuff, both in the desk area and the bathroom. Very clean and the free snacks bar is a bonus! "

"The room is full of bleach smell Wi-Fi is super laggy useless. At 6 AM the clock in the room suddenly ring and woke me up and finally I was just able to fall back asleep. The room service people opened my door at 9 AM. I was still in bed and asleep. Such a scary and a terrible experience. Hundred percent would not recommend this to anybody else don’t live here. "

"Lovely apartment thats perfect for a family of 5 as it’s so spacious. Loved the location, the staff were really friendly and the maid service was amazing. Would highly recommend and would book again. "
