"Studio Allston has a vibe that I never experienced before. I keep strange wee morning hours; Sara the night manager and the security were so accommodating and kind to me. 24/7 coffee/hot water machine. Was able to use the lobby to make a painting with provided supplies and basically roamed around freely without worries. The room was great. Breakfast great. You can’t go wrong. Nice little gym on site, artwork galore, a park across the street, convenience to food store and ample parking. Will be back when I’m less tired from studying and ready to see more sights ."

"Room was so cold and the heater didn’t work well. Bedding was light which made the cold even worse. Shower was ok and the water didn’t get hot enough and the shower stream was weak. Also not happy that only 2 small creamers were provided for 2 guests. Also had to pay for coffee downstairs. No breakfast provided either. Will not be back due to the value of the cost and limited amenities."

"Ourexperience was excellent! Unfortunately, I don't remember their names but I can tell you that the front desk staff were polite, extremely helpful and compassionate folks. I will definitely return because of them."

"Room is huge. Bed and pillows are comfortable. HVAC on the noisy end when kicked in. A little noisy from the traffic on the roads by the riverside. Not enough cloth/towel rack in bathroom. Two shampoo bottles and one conditioner. Left message at front desk to change when housekeeping comes next day and didn’t. Had to call again. The boathouse restaurant breakfast time the staff is very slow and we are in a hurry. The utensils set also have 2 forks and 1 spoon but no knife. Makes sure wonder where the staff’s mind is: consistently to put incorrect redundant items. There is great free shuttle service to Harvard campus and beyond but so under “promoted.” Most people we come to meet who stay at the hotel don’t know so it’s quite under utilized. Overall still great experience but there are areas for improvement. "
