"The size of our "premium" (i.e.additioal cost) room would not suit a luggage rack. It was tiny. Just because a room is labeled boutique doesn't mean its comfortable. Back to the Lucerne."

"The location was ideal, directly across the street from Lincoln Center. The rooftop restaurant/bar was a nice feature, a large portion of it is enclosed. "This hotel is in the best Manhattan neighborhood, Greenwich Village, on the corner of famous Washington Square. An easy walk to SOHO, the Hudson River Park, Highline, and more. There are multiple subway lines within 1-5 blocks to take you all over the city. There are restaurants, bars and cafes around every block. We lived nearby for 25 years and frequented the hotel restaurant, the North Square (currently under renovation). The hotel has a beautiful lobby, great staff and the rooms are...

"I have stayed at the Jewel previously. I think it is getting pretty tired. The “easy” chair in my room looked very worn."

"Great location, super friendly staff, house keeping was fantastic and rooms were very clean. My only complaint of the room is that our shower door didn’t close all the way, so water did go all over the floor but easy clean up. There is no reason to charge a resort fee just because you can. Bar was cute and good drinks but not all bartenders were friendly. The elevators were very slow and during our stay, 3 of the 4 elevators were not working correctly. Overall great location and great stay."
