"Plenty of parking next to hotel room. In my case I could see my motorcycle from the hotel window. Large well appointed clean room with excellent en suite. Lovely views over surrounding hills. Cozy pub with real fire. Good full English breakfast and friendly staff. All good thanks and would stay again. "

"This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. We're looking forward to coming back and staying again, as the plans for new menus sound fantastic. Room sizes and facilities are very adequate for a short stay. "We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). "

"Asygarth Hotel is an amazing, the bar and amenties are furnished to a high standard. The rooms are clean and well designed. The staff, and there is plenty of them are all welcoming and amenable. We had an evening meal in Palmers restrurant and breakfast too and both were delicious... We really enjoyed our stay"
