We've been staying at the Deerfield Inn for many years. The property was well maintained on the exterior and then it's an older property, but they've done a great job bringing it back to life. Looks great! Great experience!

We completely enjoyed our stay at Deerfield Inn. It is such a charming, small hotel that just says welcome. It was quiet, has a good location, and sitting outside looking out at the lake was a great way to relax.

This is an "ok" place to stay. The rooms are clean but there are absolutely no amenities. There were electrical problems in our room and they did not turn on the AC prior to our arrival. With temps in the 90s it took quite a while for our room to cool.down. The view was the best part of our stay.

Nice view definitely a lot of older decor toilet was stopped up nobody on property to help the neighbor kept fighting with us telling us that we were in the wrong parking place

This Inn requested to check in online. They asked you to put in the deposit(credit card #), take a selfie and copy the driver's license uploading to the 3rd party website. I felt weird. However, the funny thing was they sent a message after I checked out. They said the room's microwave was broken and wanted to deduct the deposit. I told them I never used the microwave in the room! I just stayed one night over there and never brought any food inside the room. They said they will investigate it and get back to me. Anyhow, I will never pay this nonsense. However, it caused me outrage. They try to scam people in this way. People please be aware of this situation!

Everything I needed was there including microwave and coffee maker, but odd that there is old furniture (like antique) inside and an outdated style shower. Nothing fancy about room, but the way I was given room # and pin# (no key) by email or text without ever meeting a person seemed sophisticated and modern. I was pleased with ease I could just go immediately into my room and check out just as fast!

Cathy was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating at the desk upon arrival. She definitely adds the small town, homey feel to the place. Due to them not having someone working in the lobby at all times, you are unable to get into the lobby without a code. We did not have that code sent automatically to us, and had to request it. Cathy was instrumental on her day off in trying to help us get the code, which we did finally receive but we had already left. Prior to arrival I spoke with someone on the phone who was not warm and friendly and frankly didn't seem to care if I booked at the inn or not. It was quite a process for check in prior to arrival. Pictures of self, ID, security deposit all required electronically prior to check-in. The inn has a beautiful view of the lake. Beds are comfortable, AC works great, it just needs a few updates and more human contact, to be a very charming quaint inn.

The property is VERY clean and very well maintained - with the BEST view of the lake and mountains. The one representative we met, was extremely kind! Unfortunately, we had an extremely frustrating time to even “check-in” —-we arrived around 2:15pm and found we booked a place that had no front desk. With cell service skittish, their system is majorly lacking. We actually got into the room at 3:20, over an hour with so many digital forms and inaccurate early check-in fees…we got in the room just 40 minutes early. Immediately, we found that there was no ice machine!! That was Strike 2—it took hours AND we stayed there in order to receive it. SO FRUSTRATING! The wonderful lady that brought ice - the ONLY person we met there—was sooo kind!!! By 9pm we decided we’d like to stay another night - we had a very unstructured itinerary, looking at real estate - but it took them 12 hours to respond to our inquiry, it actually took much longer waiting to hear their rate - we were headed out the door by that time, It was so CRAZY - a major Strike 3! Overall, so sad!!! They had the best made bed (extremely comfortable!) but the hours we spent waiting on answers was beyond comprehension! We were the only overnight guests there. While awaiting the ice, we watched as two separate cars pulled up trying to get a room and left due to inability. They are sorely missing out - and so are their guests!! Hoping the owners find a better system - such a waste of a fine property!
