"Excellent value stay, great location, nice facilities. The guy there this morning was very sociable and helpful. Continental Breakfast was ample and worked well despite not being particularly high quality. The shower in the room was hot, apparently endless hot water, just a bit dated but functional. I'd definitely stay again"
"Lovely break, staff very friendly, spa is separate and very nice, some dated issues, TV temperamental to operate, some age to the decorations, we've stayed there over a number of years and seen little change.

"The food was amazing. The grounds are lovely and the staff are warm and welcoming. The accomodation was fantastic,l. We had the Sorrel junior suite which is ideal for a couple with a dog. Private garden and lounge area and bedroom area mean sleeping without the dog in the same room is a nice treat"

"This is a very nice hotel in the center of town. It is an old building so nothing is square or level but it gives it charm. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. And the breakfast was very good. We would stay there again. Parking was free and right next to the front entrance."
