"The room was fine, it was clean but a little dated. The beds (2 singles) though were very uncomfortable. One had the springs poking through. On asking for a mattress topper or a different mattress, the response was that this was not possible. Mattress toppers were later added but why indicate this is not possible when it is? We were cold on the first night and requested a blanket. We were informed that the hotel did not have any blankets! After considering moving hotel we were given a second...

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton at Gatwick’s South Terminal. We loved the room - the bed was massive and perfectly comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean with good water pressure and temperature in the shower. The staff were very friendly too, but the highlight for us was the breakfast.
At breakfast there was a huge selection of breads, pastries, cereals, nuts and seeds, yoghurts and fruit, hot and cold drinks, cooked food and we especially appreciated the deli with salads, cheeses...
