"We absolutely loved our stay at Bowmore house. We booked the distillery view room. It was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, and we even got to sample the proprietary whisky. The staff kicked us informed of any possible issues with returning from the island via the ferry. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit."

This information is not on their website and it should be very prominent when you make a booking, even if it is through a 3rd party like Expedia. They bury the info in small print towards the bottom of the booking confirmation, No help at all regarding an evening meal despite my wife being a brain injury survivor. "Stayed with family for 3 nights. We loved this place. Ample parking spaces. Restaurant and grocery stores nearby. Breakfast lounge was stocked with cereal, milk, utensils etc. Only suggestion I'd give would be to replace the cutleries twice a day instead of once. Since people do bring takeaway food and eat in the lounge during the evenings, the cutleries get used up a lot and very few is left out for when we go for breakfast in the mornings. "This was an excellent place to stay but expensive. But worth it as a treat. But the old saying you get what you pay for is certainly applies to this place! The front desk was unbelievable. They took your bags upstairs for you. They catered to every whim. I would definitely recommend this place. The food was excellent."
