"The hotel was immaculate. I paid extra for the breakfast buffet when I checked in since there was nothing around the hotel, but a park, but the breakfast was worth it. There were 2 things I wasn’t happy with. The first, their ‘airport shuttle’ doesn’t actually pick up at the airport, it picks up nextdoor at the medical clinic (not that close when my baggage claim was on the opposite side of the airport). And, it doesn’t drop off AT the hotel. It dropped me off 200 meters away. Not good when you have a hurt knee, 2 large suitcases and a carry on 😩. They need to rephrase that or note the specifics, as that was the main reason I selected that hotel. The 2nd was, it stressed that payment was to be collected at the time of check in ‘in the currency used where the hotel was located’ (Euros). And it did say in that paragraph specifics about using a credit card but the way it is written made me believe I could pay in cash (Euros) so I made sure to have Euros on hand. It did not say anything about the hotel NOT accepting cash…ANYWHERE. So I had to use my US credit card to pay, which charges me international fees. Either they need to make that clearer in the information they give to Expedia, or, check what Expedia posts for their hotel information if Expedia left it off."

"The things to remember about this hotel are that it is close to the airport (thought lots of walking) and they flood all the rooms with perfume. It’s like you are staying at the cosmetics counter of a shop. There’s no avoiding it. Perfume gives me a headache so that’s the main issue for me. They need to put a warning on their website."

"Location is perfect if you want to take a one night break before renting a car and driving into the city or further out. No bathroom amenities at all (toothbrush, shower caps etc) but soap, shampoo etc available. No bedroom slippers too but thankfully I had brought my own. Not entirely sure why but it was so warm in the room despite us lowering the ac to the lowest and fan to the max speed."
