Having stayed at BanyanTree for four days before arriving at Our Habitas, our opinion may have been skewed. Check-in was definitely seamless, and the staff are more than courteous. They are polite and attentive. The property is large but they have golf carts (buggies) which are always available with almost no wait. The reception area although small is very functional and they offer guests free coffee/tea and cookies as well as other treats at all times of the day. The rooms however, are definitely dated considering the resort is only five years old. There is almost no area to put your clothes away. We were essentially living out of our suitcases for the three days while we were there. This wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but for the money you pay, you would expect more drawer space in a 5 star hotel. The air conditioning unit was also incredibly loud. Breakfast was included and the choices were reasonable. The pool is definitely used at almost all times by bloggers and other individuals wanting to take videos and pics for social media posts. It’s a bit overwhelming if you’re only intention is to go swimming. None of the guest rooms have a personal pool option available which I firmly believe many guests would appreciate. Although the general atmosphere is fun and inviting with many people about, the resort is certainly not as luxurious as Banyan Tree. The Caravan area was beautiful. Would still recommend staying at Habitas, but a two day day may be more than enough
