"Our stay was better than expected. To be clear, this is not a 5 Star hotel but for the type of hotel/ motel, it was excellent…. a 5 star experience. The staff was exceptional and the room was super clean. The unit we stayed in appeared to be newly remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. The location was within walking distance of everything downtown so that was a bonus! The breakfast was a typical continental style. We would stay here again!"

"Do not stay here! Absolutely horrible starting with the disgusting, unwelcoming lobby. Then it went downhill from there: Very expensive for what? No chair to sit in just a bed No Kleenex Nightstand on one side of bed has outlet plugs but they don’t work because there is no where to plug in the main plug? No shower soap No cokes in the Coke machine No ice in the outside ice chest Breakfast options cheap Hair in the floor - not mine TV in one of the rooms did not work Just conditioning shampoo?...

"The room was very clean and quaint. Perfect space for our stay. The Holliss's were very hospitable and attended to every need. I highly recommend doing breakfast. Great food and the company is a mix of people from all over. You get to meet and greet everyone and truly get a home feel while enjoying a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay here again."

"We loved the location of the resort. It is important that we find places that are pet friendly and have places that allow getting out with your pet. We were very pleased with Dahlonega for this. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small with limited counter space but that is to be expected with old style rooms. We were there during the week and unfortunately unable to sample meals. A special thank you to Candace who happened by to open the gift shop so we could purchase wine...
