"My review is based on the entire experience...which I gave an OK rating, mainly because of the staff. Starting with the phone call speaking with staff on several occasions. Not a high level of customer service, did not offer any assistance or information. Spoke low and kind of hard to understand. It felt like pulling teeth to gather basic information, no information provided beyond my asks which were met with one word responses... ie, yes or no. That is not good customer service or sets a guest friendly foundation. When I arrived, my room was the first door on 1st floor, the receptionist seen me walk all the way past that room and said nothing. I asked where, and she pointed to across the room. I called from the room in the morning asking if the coffee was complimentary and I received a simple unfriendly yes. I should not need to ask IF customer service is important to this hotel. The room was nice and clean... but the little refrigerator sounds like a freight train coming through every 15 minutes. It is EXTREMELY loud and woke me out of my sleep all night. I thought to unplug it and wondered what management would give the OK for something like this to be in a hotel room knowing it sounds like a freight train. Absolutely ridiculous and it needs to be removed or replaced asap. I needed to be close to Forest Lawn, which is a mile away because my dad was being buried the next day, so you can imagine how peace mattered particularly at this time. Step up your customer service"

"The bathrooms were utterly disgusting, I usually stay at the Marriott but I decided to try here. I lasted only an hour before leaving after going to use the shower amenities and had brown water get poured on me. Prior to that the toilet had a pungent odor whenever it was flushed. I’m still waiting on management for my refund. I would not and will not stay here again."

"I had such a great stay, Carol at the front desk was very welcoming and kind! Also Jun at the bar had amazing customer service. Every employee I came across had a smile on their face. ON TOP of my room being very clean and fresh. Breakfast was great. I had a good stay. 10/10 recommend"

"Unfortunately our stay this time was not comfortable. We have come to this hotel for 3-4 years and this time the room we were assigned reeked of pee smell as soon as you started unlocking the room. Even having the balcony door open wasn’t helpful. My partner asked to switch rooms due it being unsanitary and we were told “it was a sold out night, that possibly in the morning someone could spray the room and try to clean it”. This issue seemed more like the room needed a deep cleaning and to clean the carpet no spray could fix that strong scent of pee. After 30 min, I decided to go and ask again that the smell was so strong, I couldn’t be in that room, if they could please switch us. Then the person at the front desk was flexible enough to look for rooms again and found rooms available. Thankfully. I appreciate the change in rooms and upgrade. I only wish this was the first thing they did instead of possibly lying to us and making us think we had no other option available. Unfortunately this is my last time staying here. I hope they fix their pipes too because a strange smell comes out when using the sink in the bathrooms."
