"The staff I met were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee station in the main building. However, the room #34 I received in a separate block behind the main building did not look like any of the rooms shown in the listing photos. I asked a staff member in person whether this was the twin bed room with private bathroom I had booked, and was confirmed that it was. "This was a great place to stay, although a little bit out of the way, still within striking distance of Selfoss. Being out in the sticks a bit I believed helped in our viewing of the northern lights while we were there - that was awesome. Bed was really comfy and the room well equipped. The shower was interesting since there was no door or curtain on one side so challenging to keep the water from going everywhere!! Hot tub was really nice - very relaxing - and the shared “kitchen/bar” area...
