"Disappointed with the lack of aesthetics at the pool and it was filthy. Lots of floating dead bees, mosquitos, and other insects. Also, the water spigot at our site was dispensing brown water. And our site had a sewer lid where you can smell the stench"

"The rook was very clean when we arrived and we were so grateful for the ac being on when we came! The only wish was that they had a microwave in the room (it is available to used when asked tho, we’re just lazy haha) and the water to be hotter. The staff was very accommodating and perfect stay for visiting Julian."

"Need to pay $10 for parking on site or park for free on the street. Street parking is very close and easy if it is not the weekend or peak season (Sept and October) according to staff so we parked on the street. Basic amenities: coffee inside room with more selections in the main lounge where they also have hot water and a microwave, no fridge to store leftovers so don’t buy too much food. "The staff were lovely and helpful. The decoration was classy Victorian. It is on the main drag of Julian. And the included breakfast was tasty and filling."

"I have been at the hotel twice and this last time was a bit disappointing. Someone parked their gas car for two days in one of the few EV charging station available. On one occasion the owner of the car must have left a bunch of trash and what looked like food splattered around the car. Would have hoped staff could have checked on that and at least find the owner and have them move their car"
