The shuttle is the big benefit if you can’t stay directly at the Scandic Airport hotel. We could not locate the shuttle stop upon arrival and couldn’t connect a call with the hotel, so we decided to take an Uber, which was an unfortunate waste. Be sure to find out exactly where to catch it before you arrive. Otherwise everything went very well.

Scandic Veromies was a decent hotel for our less than 12 hour stay in Helsinki as we waited for our next flight leg in our journey. Hotel was nice enough, clean enough, shuttle service to and from airport was excellent, and the hotel buffet breakfast was very good at a reasonable price. Too bad we couldn't stay in Helsinki to explore its beauty, but we had a plane to catch to go home!

Check-in was quick and effortless, the room was the perfect size with a practical, easy-to-navigate layout, and the staff truly made the experience memorable from buss drivers check-inn staff finally buffet ladies.
