Hotel Golf di Hemel Hempstead

"好き嫌いが分かれると思いますが、私はまた宿泊したいと思わないです。建物はマナーハウスだけあって歴史があり美しくさえありましたが、中は大変古いです。洗面台の蛇口からはなぜかお湯（しかも熱い）しか出ず、カーペットはボロボロ、壁はしみだらけ、ベッドはスプリングがいたいくらいでした。ホテルの周囲はゴルフ場なので店などなく、近くても徒歩20分くらいかかります。英国の異常な暑さのなか、エアコンのついている部屋は半分あるかないかでしょう。でも宿泊費は比較的安く、満室でした。イギリスのTVドラマのセットのような雰囲気が好きな人にはたまらないと思います。"

"Hilton are top of the chain quality usually, but this one doesn't match standards or expectations. The building is old and it shows: chipped paint, rust in bathrooms, no outlets next to beds, narrow bathtubs, stained carpets... The staff were a mixed bag, with some cheerful and helpful and others sourpusses. The breakfast offering is quite good, with a wide selection of options for everyone. Location is ok if you have things to do in Kensington but otherwise at least 30 mins to the tourist...

"I've stayed at the hotel many times in the past before it became a Warner hotel. Although the facilities are still excellent I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the food in the Market Street restaurant (both evening meal and breakfast). Perhaps it was just that the previous standard as a business hotel was higher than current. We also could not get air-conditioning working in our room ((2021) this appeared to of been a problem for a number of the visitors."

"A perfectly pleasant hotel but what is with it with the glass fronted bathrooms? Never pleasant. Check in was a clart but apart from that all good."
