"My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay, 5/5. The host Stelios is very welcoming, helpful and kind. The mansion is beautiful, our room was amazing with a private balcony and the pool looks over the valley and Heraklion. Go to the village restaurant Stelios recommends, it was one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. "We loved our stay at the hotel, the room was so nice and very big. The AC was great and the room was very clean. The staff was so nice. The breakfast was amazing. We would recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again! "

"Perfect place to stay away from the chaos of Heraklion! The food in the restaurant is AMAZING - definitely try the grilled mushrooms if you can (we had it twice)! The homemade white and red wine are also amazing! The room was clean and spacious, and the property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Nicolas was an amazing dinner host. We loved every minute of our stay! "

"I travelled for 24 hours from the US to this property to arrive to a place that didn’t have sheets, blankets or pillows on any of the beds. It was dirty, there was dirt and dead bugs on the floor and also no towels or wash cloths. After traveling for 24 hours, I just wanted to shower and go to bed but there was no way I could do that. "I believe they told me I'd been upgraded when I checked-in, but my room had a great view of the business harbor if you leaned out over the rail, and I paid for a harbor view (like I had seen in the photos from the pool). More like I was downgraded. I also have serious questions about whether the AC even worked, if it did, there was no way to adjust it, or even feel it working. The location was ok, but you're going to hear a lot of air traffic. I think I'll examine my options next time."

"If you are looking for a small town Crete experience this is a good place for that. Everyone was friendly, the house was cute and looked like the pictures. The hosts dinner recommendation, a short walk away, for Ethimiko, was very good. The only real issue we had was that the WiFi was not connecting in the room. If you want a disconnected experience this is your spot. The host did let us know they are working on getting a router for the room so this may be fixed soon. "
