Good place to stay

Great hotel, excellent service and staff, room was large, comfortable with an excellent bed. Restaurant was excellent with good food served well.

Never disappoints

This was our 4th visit to Foyles and it never disappoints. The room was fantastic, the food was amazing and the lovely staff make you feel right at home. Already planning our next visit.

Great place to stay

The hotel is maintained to a very high standard, the rooms and common areas were all very clean and well presented. Comfortable bedding and fluffy towels. Really nice little touches all round. Breakfast was very good and staff made a great suggestion for a nearby walk.

A good find! Lovely views

My daughter and I, stayed for one night and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Are room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had a meal in the restaurant, which I must say was excellent. We also had a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel .

Faultless in every way

This hotel is faultless, beautiful interior, outstanding customer service. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. The restaurant food was excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The breakfast was amazing in every way. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful place

A great hotel in a lovely village, with mountain views and river walks. Beautiful decor, nice sunny courtyard for drinks, and the bar is not overpriced. Staff were very busy on arrival, but still attentive and efficient. They work hard and it shows, immaculately clean with great service. Breakfast is fab too. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Lovely room as always, but this time we noticed that breakfast had changed. No lovely continental option and only one a la carte choice. Breakfast was in the bar area and the floor was rather grubby. Certainly not as clean as in previous stays.

A real gem.

Foyles is a real gem of a hotel. Each room is individually decorated to such a high standard and with exquisite taste ( we asked if we could have a nose at them all before we left!). The staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly- from the owners down to every waiter/ waitress. The food in the restaurant was excellent both evenings we ate there and service excellent. Breakfast was lovely too. Only minor niggle was the shower cubicle in our en suite was a little snug for me- I’m a big guy! But other rooms had bigger showers and some have baths. Will definitely visit again and will go for super king room next time. Some lovely walks in the fantastic countryside on your doorstep too. Fabulous place. Highly recommended.

Excellent staff, clean rooms but a firm bed.

A lovely hotel, very friendly and professional staff. Nice decor and a spacious room with superb amenities. Only 2 factors for not a good nights sleep were personal preferences; the bed itself wasn’t great for me, personally, as it was hard with hard pillows. But some may prefer this. Also the room is lovely and light and airy in the day but at night it was too light for me. The early morning sunlight light floods in through from the glass bathroom door and artificial light in from the hallway under the door. Overall it was a nice hotel and the staff were excellent though.
