"Friendly helpful staff, all individual rooms, mine had a large comfortable bed, with large en-suite with good walk in shower and heated towel rail, all very clean too. All good but let down when the chef was awol for breakfast?"

Four out of five for the staff because they sat around us chatting whilst we were having breakfast. It felt a little like we were in the way of their conversation.
Dined here on two evenings and one breakfast. Very good meals apart from a massively overpriced “cauliflower steak” - ordered out of curiosity but I should have asked first. It was just a roasted head of cauliflower… and not that big a one, either, but the price didn’t reflect...

"Very nice stay, room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, full English, used the restaurant for evening meal which was very enjoyable.
Wasn’t keen on the very small smart TV in the room but owners were lovely and so was Hannah. A wonderful waitress "
