"Overall, a solid stay at Hilton Garden Inn Olympia. It’s located about a 5-minute drive from downtown (near 4th St), which is convenient if you have a car. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained throughout. The bds were extremely comfortable — we both slept straight through the night. Breakfast is not free (2 for $30) and buffet-style, with a good variety (eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.). Parking is free, which is a nice bonus for anyone driving in. "The room was ok, would have been nicer with some basic decorations, like at least a picture on the wall. Hot tub in room worked but the motor to run the jets was extremely loud and made us wonder whether it would brake down at any minute. The breakfast was very basic, but ok to get us on the road. Ok for a short overnight to hit the road again."

"The hotel is no frills and in a great location. The room was not ready for check-in at three and the staff was unhelpful and seemingly unbothered by the line of guests wanting their rooms. We finally got into our room about 90 minutes after the advertised check-in time with water bottles and granola bars as a 'sorry for the wait' bag."
