"A lovely property with tasteful decor. All the staff are very pleasant. Palm Court restaurant was really nice, and the gym and swim facilities were good. The Sunday carvery is excellent and complimentary products in the room a nice touch. Not a lot of seating in the bar if wanting drinks only, most of it is for eating. Similarly, car parking is at a premium with a wedding on. Changing rooms are quite small, and could do with a spin machine for drying trunks (many have these now)."

"First impressions in walking into the hotel were superb, modern, bright & clean with really helpful & pleasant staff. The bar & food were also really good, excellent food & service with drinks very reasonably priced. However the room was very dated & not that clean, certainly needs a refresh, & this was a canal side balcony room on the fifth floor with a jacuzzi bath. "Overall a nice hotel highlighted by Bri on reception and many other helpful and friendly staff. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem.
