"Staff told me I had to vacate the area because my son was too loud and the room was a mess. I was told it was extensive cleaning needed, however wet toilet paper can be swept up. I don’t mind paying the incidental fee, that was actually $250, but staff said it was $200. What I mind was being told this at 8pm. Could have called or contacted me prior to the evening. When asked if I was going to get reimbursed for the remaining night, I was told since I booked through Expedia, I would have to...

The staff is all lovely and the pool area seemed very nice though I did not come prepared to swim. Sadly, I would likely never find myself in Statesville again, but I'm very happy that I chose this Sonesta Select. I was not traveling with my pup this time, but they seem very pet-friendly without sacrificing the clean feel."
