My sister and I liked this place, and they had a good breakfast. The Italian restaurant attached through the lobby was excellent, and very convenient. Their one luggage cart could use a little maintenance, but worked ok, and it seems there are some people who more or less live there, and have BBQ gear out back, but they were friendly. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

After pre-paying for 2 rooms including 3 pets, we were turned away at check-in at 11:45pm after a 14 hour drive thru snowy roads. Apparently, even with the reservation, the motel only had a certain number of rooms that allow pets and none were saved for us to fulfill our reservation. Absolutely livid that they offered no solutions other than that I contact Expedia for a refund.

So the staff was friendly and the police was clean however there were three considerable problems. The first was the big heating unit kicked on and off very loudly all night making an impossible to sleep and sadly that's really the one most important thing when you are in a hotel is that you rest and we did not. The breakfast was cold and they didn't even have a microwave for us to warm it up and a bunch of area around the exterior where you would park and drive was a mud hole. I think giving it a two is being generous

The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. And the stay was very affordable! We stayed here the night before heading to a Chiefs game the next morning and was a good spot to stay that is only 40 minutes from Arrowhead Stadium.
