"Ideal location as it’s12 minutes from the airport. While the motel is situated on a busy road surrounded by strip malls and fast food, it’s peaceful and pleasant inside. Has a lovely little courtyard with trees, landscaping, and a few tables and chairs. Nice indoor pool and hot tub, and a tiny fitness room. Staff were fine at check in and check out. Love the free breakfast, but coffee could be better. "

"This was a last minute find on our way back to Denver from Utah. The first thing I saw when checking in was a notice about the pool and hot tub being cold because they just installed new heater. There were boxes around the hot tub and tiles were laying on the side of the pool. Okay I guess that's all understandable. Then we went up to the room, where we found tons of Elm bugs in the windows. "Never stayed at a TRU property before, but having been on the road for the past 10 days, we knew what we wanted (and didn't). The place was decorated very hip and looked like no other hotel lobby I've been in before. The front desk was surrounded by every travel and snack product imaginable. Of course, none of it was complementary. The place just felt weird and as far as we could tell, the location was in an old industrial park. "The inside and rooms coukd use a face-lift. For what we paid for the room, I thought it would be more modern but it was outdated. Staff were amazing. We were greeted when we came in and left. Friendly, kind and caring."

"This place was way too expensive ($500 for 2 nights) for grand junction and the condition of the property. It needs to be modernized. While staying there for a CMU tour, there was a kitchen fire or something. Tons of smoke and the smell of burnt hamburgers during our stay. No fan system going or anything. More like a motel 6."

"It was a nice hotel and close to everything. The only issue we had was that we paid $10 per day for parking and each night when we returned parking was very hard to find and very inconvenient to park at the back of the lot with between big trucks in small spaces."

"The woman who runs the inn is very nice but the place is dated and the bed is incredibly uncomfortable. There is also no sitting room as you’d expect in an inn no housekeeping and your breakfast is at 8:00 or 8:30. No sleeping in."

"Older motel trying to look new. Bedding was updated and clean. Love no carpeting in room and hallways. But hole in bathroom door, splintered at top, nothing else updated. Hotel had a perfume smell like they were trying to hide something. Would not stay even for one night. Very basic breakfast, but coffee and juice was fine. Run down parking lot, beside a gas station.
