"The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. "

"The setting is ideal for a relaxing, non-pressure break! The room was very clean, and the spa tub was a pleasant treat! The kitchette was very clean, with a simple layout. One of the nicest treats, were the paperback novels
provided for relaxing read!
A riverside sitting area/fireplace provided an additional peaceful time!"

"This place is so unique and awesome! The antique feel is perfect but also modern! It's such a cute little place and a part of history! Definitely would recommend it and definitely worth it! We thought we were staying in Fredericksburg but realized it was in Comfort. Which ended up being perfect. Not too far from Fredericksburg and there was a nice little bar we walked down to.
